Estudio Alba was honored to take part in this year's DEMO2025 festival, presented by the New Museum’s forward-thinking incubator NEW INC at Water Street Projects in NYC. Each year, DEMO gathers a dynamic lineup of artists, designers, technologists, and cultural experimenters—an open invitation to witness the ideas shaping our future.
For Estudio Alba’s founder, the event marked a meaningful return. As a NEW INC member from 2019–2022, she spent three formative years exploring circularity, sustainability, and the role of craft in an increasingly digital world. This year, she was invited back to present the brand’s jewelry in the festival’s curated pop-up, bringing that ongoing inquiry into materiality and design full circle.
Across its 15 days, DEMO2025 unfolded as a vibrant cross-section of contemporary creativity: thought-provoking talks with voices like Ayana Elizabeth Johnson and Gabriel Massan, performances, live project demonstrations, and a gallery-style showcase that transformed the space into a living archive of ideas in motion.
